Change Japan
Two weeks ago I showed my students before and after pictures of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. We had a great conversation about Japan, the people, the destruction, and how we can help. Our discussion quickly turned into a brainstorming session where we decided on giving back to Japan. We wrote a letter to our principal to ask for permission, as well as making a video to explain our reasons for wanting to help. We then wrote our reasons on our blog. From there we made posters to advertise the change drive. Today, we put this video together to help encourage our school to donate their change. I hope this compels them to give to our change drive.
